acupressure
I’m currently offering online acupressure consultations, which include a video consultation and a follow up email with an acupressure point guide. This will be unique to you, and based upon my usual traditional diagnosis for specific issues and any relevant Chinese medical advice or nutritional / lifestyle guidance.

Acupressure utilizes the same points and medical theory used in acupuncture.
In acupressure, using your hands and fingers, pressure is applied to specific points on the body instead of the insertion of an acupuncture needle. The pressure stimulates the nervous system and creates blood flow which in turn helps the body’s biomechanics to function properly and allow the body to heal itself.
Along with symptoms subsiding, you will feel a peaceful nourishing relaxation similar to when you receive acupuncture. Due to it’s excellent results, acupuncturists will even use acupressure in their clinics on children, patients with highly sensitive nervous systems, and occasionally on those afraid of needles. Once you learn point locations appropriate for your symptoms you’re able to stimulate them throughout the day for relief.
Acupuncture will have a deeper more permanent effect on your nervous system but acupressure is very beneficial for your immune, physical, and mental health during this time of social distancing.
For the science minded, here’s a great study that affirms its benefit in a variety of medical cases: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3154967/
